Kenyan football player reported missing

One of Norway's most profiled Kenyan football player has been reported missing. John «Mo» Muiruri has been in Kenya where he was training with the national team but was expected back in Norway last Thursday.

The 29 year old Moss Football Club player was accompanied by among others, Moss' goal keeper, Arnold Origi who returned to Norway as planned.

According to reports gathered by KiN, Arnold meant that John caught the return flight in Nairobi as was scheduled, but since then, nobody has heard from the latter. Attempts by John's family and Moss' assistant coach Mr. Joakim Klæboe have been fruitless and the family is worried.

Moss' coach Mr. Per Morten Haugen is also worried about the whereabouts of the player and says he hopes all is well with him.

John Machethe Muiruri is a Kenyan midfielder currently playing for Moss Football Club (Moss FK) in Norway. He is a very popular player among Kenyans both in Norway and Kenya where fans refer to him as John 'Mo'. Muiruri is best known for his perfect ball control and ability to dribble the ball. John is a talented midfielder and has lately been training with the Kenyan national team. In his youth, John led Kisii School to two national championships before his final year in 1997. He has since played more than 60 international matches for Kenya, not forgetting his appearance at the 2004 African Cup of Nations.
