KiN Report
An advocate (aged 59) based in Oslo has been accused for misusing three Kenyan women. The man is said to have brought the three women from Kenya between October 2006 and April 2007. The accusations and charges against the advocate include among others, violence and forcing the three women to prostitution.
According to judicial reports, the advocate married a lady from Kenya in 2006 and organised for her relocation to Norway. Once in Norway, the advocate is said to have forced the woman to prostitution. In January 2007, the advocate went to Kenya and got another woman who also joined him back in Norway after a short while. Once in Norway, the second woman was also forced to prostitution by the advocate. He is said to have been very violent to both the women.
The case also has it that the advocate raped a third Kenyan woman in the same period. According to our sources, the said third woman came to Norway in April 2007 and was also threatened and forced to prostitution but she refused. As a result, she moved out of the man's residence after a couple of weeks.
The advocate is said to have taken pictures of the three women and advertised the same on internet for possible customers to view.
The advocate pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The case is scheduled to last 19 days and KiN will follow it keenly and report accordingly. Please update us with any information that can cast more light on this case.
Warning:
May this be a warning to you, dear Kenyans. There is an old trend of men and women passing out to be good enough and willing to offer so much to assist the needy at home by sponsoring them to 'better life in Europe'. The majority travel far and wide to find cheap and easy spots to exploit.
Kenya's coastal towns are hot spots for these people and they easily win the trust of unlikely sensing youths. They promise their prey 'heaven on earth' with education, well paid jobs, posh cars, nice houses and all a seriously needy person would materially dream of. They are ready to process the visa and all travel requirements including payment of fees thereof. Once in Europe, the story may as well be as in the foregone case.
Remember that there is nothing like a free lunch.
If you need assistance for studies or business connections, look for serious sources of information. All Norwegian universities and colleges are available via the internet and can take your applications directly without you involving a middle man. Note that prostitution is illegal in Norway i.e. those caught purchasing sexual services end up with huge fines and a possible jail term. If caught selling such services, you, a foreigner risk deportation from Norway and may not be able to visit any of the schengen countries after that.
