Questions are now being raised after fresh revelations emerged that indeed a gang had trailed Ugandan music star Jose Chameleone before he found himself in a hospital bed last month. According to a witness, Chameleone and his friends were out in a Kampala nightclub when a group of men arrived and provoked Chameleone to a fight. But the singer, who had just left hospital after an accident in Tanzania decided to ignore them. However, three hours on, the gang became more violent and threatened to beat Chameleone for undisclosed reasons. Chameleone took cover and drove off. Little did he know that one of his enemies’ cars was on standby outside the club. The unidentified car pursued him and ended up hitting his car, which then rolled, leaving the singer seriously injured. The singer, who had by now lost his consciousness, found himself in hospital the next morning. Word has it that a clique close to Chameleone’s inner circle is out to end the musician’s music career of many years.
