Kenya's Special Programmes minister Esther Murugi is under fire following her recent utterances in support of homosexuals. The minister is on record saying the government has no option other than to address issues concerning gays and lesbians. She spoke in Mombasa during a national symposium on HIV and AIDS but her remarks have caused a lot of discomfort among local Muslim clerics.
