Ocampo Six to the Hague

The much awaited and versly reported appearance of the Ocampo Six at the Hague is soon a reality. The visas to the Dutch City have been issued and collected leaving no more doubts pertaining to the appearance of the named Post Election Violence (PEV) suspects. The six are to appear at the ICC on the 7th. and 8th. of April where their cases will be tabled in Courtroom 1, Pre-Trial Chamber II. A live digital coverage of the court's proceedings will be available via Eurovision and live streams at http://livestreamxs4all.nl/icc5.asx.


According to the court, "the hearing is being held to verify the identity of the suspects and to ensure that they have been informed of the crimes, which they are alleged to have committed, and of their rights under the Rome Statute, founding treaty of the ICC"
