Mathare United's two teams are still going strong after thrashing their opponents this morning in two thrilling matches. The boys' under 13 team won the match at Rustad and are now ready for the Quarter finals to be played today at 15:30. This is expected to be a great match since the opponents, Iraq Future have been dubbed the favourites of the group this year. However, with an unbeaten record and scoring upto 11-0 goals in their technically correct games, Matahre United's under 13 boys are a force to reckon. The match is scheduled for 15:30 (CET) at Ekeberg field 17.
Boys under 16 team ve also won against all their greatest opponents in a style worth copying. Today at 10:00 (CET), the boys won one of their challenging matches to forward their strengths to the 1/8 finals. Their next match is at 17:30 this evening at Ekeberg field 13.
Program:
Boys under 13: Ekeberg field 17 at 15:30 (CET)
Boys under 16: Ekeberg field 13 at 17:30 (CET)
Unfortunately, the girls' under 14 team was defeated 3-0 yesterday by their Ugandan sisters and are therefore out of the tournament. KiN requests Kenyans in Norway and especially those in Oslo and the surrounding cities to attend the games and support the only Kenyan team, Mathare United (MYSA).
