KiN Sports
Zambia clinched the final trophy after beating Ivory Coast 8-7 in a thrilling match that ended in penalty shoot-out. The goalless match went into extra time and ended in a penalty shoot-out that guaranteed Zambia the first ever African Champions top football trophy.

To disbelief for the Ivorians and joy to the Zambians, Chelsea's star Didier Drogba missed a penalty. On the list of those who missed to score from the penalty mark were also Arsenal's Gervinho, Manchester Citys Kolo TourĂ© (Ivory Coast) and Rainford Kalaba (Zambia).

The matchwinner was none other than Stophira Zunzu who scored the decisive goal that saw Zambia lift the trophy.
