Association of Kenyans in Norway: 2012 Elections

The Association of Kenyas in Norway (AKIN) held democratic, free and fair elections on Friday 19th. October 2012. Ammendment of AKIN election act was voted in by the AGM allowing for the creation of two new positions in the board i.e a youth member and a representative from the Kenya students' association in Norway (KESAN). Another ammendment was also voted in for the extension of the term of office for the elected officials hereby opening for a two year period for the currently elected officials. This means that from this year, AKIN board members will be elected for a two year period.

We congratulate the following office bearers for winning the slated positions through the well organised secret ballot vote guided by the Felix Osok led election team. We wish these members all the best as they steer AKIN to greater heights.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
