Presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta and his running mate William Ruto of the Jubilee Alliance have been cleared by the High Court of Kenya to vie for the March 4 elections. The five judge-bench ruled against the integrity case against Uhuru and Ruto stating that the Constitution is clear on the issue of presumtion of innocence until charged persons are proven guilty. The integrity case was filed by four NGOs.
The five judges who dealt with the case are Mbogholi Msagha, Luka Kimaru, Hellen Omondi, Pauline Nyamweya and George Kimondo.
