The IEBC has declared Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta (TNA/Jubillee alliance) the winner of Kenya's hotly contested presidential election beating seven contestants and becomes Kenya's fourth President.
Uhuru got 6,173,433 votes (50.03%) followed by Raila Odinga (ODM/Cord alliance) who garnered 5,340,546 (43.28%) out of the total 12,338,667 votes casted at the March 4th. election.
Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is the immediate former deputy Prime Minister of Kenya and Member of Parliament for Gatundu South Constituency. He was born on 26th. October 1961 to Kenya's first President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and Mama Ngina Kenyatta. Uhuru studied at St. Mary's School, Nairobi (1979) and further at Amherst College in USA (1985 - 1989). Mr Kenyatta is married to Margaret Wanjiru Gakuo (married in 1991) and has three children.
