Venezuela's President, Hugo Chávez died Tuesday 05.03.2013 after a two year struggle against cancer. The late President will be laid to rest this Friday in a State funeral to be followed by elections to be held in 30 days.
According to Foreign Minister Elias Jaua, Vice President Nicolas Maduro will assume the presidency in the interim.
