Members of the Association of Kenyans in Norway held an Extraordinary Annual General Meeting (AGM) to deliberate on crucial issues, elect new board members and chart the way forward. 
The meeting was open to all members and the attendees were encouraged to present their vies of AKIN including suggestions of how to continue the running of the association.

Reports from the board states that the minutes of the meeting will be availed to the members as soon as the secretariat is ready to dispatch the same. Members who have not yet updated their status were requested to pay the NOK 250 annual subscription for 2014 to AKIN Acoount Number 1503.21.86537.

Summing up the meeting, our reporter gathered the election of four new members to AKIN board including Leah Krogsund, Mary Thagichu, Titus, Oyaro and Wanyama. Details of their positions in the board and official presentation will come via the AGM report.
