A Fokker 50-cargo plane crashed into a commercial building in Embakasi, Nairobi shortly after takeoff this morning. The early Wednesday morning accident left the four crew members of the Skyward International flight dead and a few injured people on the ground.
According to Police spokesman at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport (JKIA), Joseph Ngisa, the plane reportedly ferrying miraa was scheduled for Mogadishu, Somalia. It is said that the plane flew low after takeoff and possibly flew into a power line before ending up into the two storrey commercial building.
