Kenyans in Norway and friends of Kenya held prayer meetings in solidarity and for the memory of the victims of the Garissa University terror attack. The solemn gathering was housed at the Methodist Church in Oslo this Saturday from 16:00 (CET) courtesy of the Association of Kenyans in Norway (AKIN) and the Kenya Students Associacion in Norway (KESAN).
The general message at the gathering was of peace, love and unity among Kenyans and their desire to live together with the country's neighbours.
After prayers and speeches by Dr. Stephen Karanja and Fred Makosir, names of the departed 147 students were read one after the other as the congregation lit candles for each departed soul.
