Successfull high profiled Kenyan meeting

KiN Reports (Majorstuen, Oslo) - Ref: Scandal hits Kenyans in Norway

A high profiled meeting was held as scheduled at the Kenyan landlord's apartment on Staurday. The well organised meeting was attended by 25 Kenyans from different parts of the country and walks of life. The landlord narrated the full story and chain of events thereby updating the attendees of the occurance and aftermath of her having rented the apartment to JR. The attendees were then shown around the apartment and were amazed to see how much was taken from the said apartment. The furniture is gone, kitchen stuff, wall lamps, paintings e.t.c.

The meeting started, followed an organised agenda with well managed discussions and ended on time as scheduled. The resolutions from the meeting present a unanimous agreement that JR (the renter) be contacted and requested to surrender the keys together with all the furniture and all that belongs to the landlord that she had taken. To effect the foregone, appointments were made and assignments attached to the various heads deemed appropriate to follow the case until the next possible meeting.

Kenyans agreed that this is a civil case that required a mature and civil attention and a friendly solution. One speaker urged the attendees to work for "a Kenyan solution" to the problem and do all that is possible to have a softer landing than opting for a tug of war in the Norwegian courts of law.

Are you guys for real, if you didnt notice this is starting to look like a family blog to me. you seem to be assuming that Kenyans in Norway are all touched(involved) in this so called scandal... there are laws that can be used in such cases,"Forliksrådet" to begin with. so you think yo will settle the issue ? i wait to see but for now poor landlord who thinks that the so called Kenyan "elders" will settle the issue for him. can we just say that if a crime has been done let them settle it in court thats how things work out here. we look forward to you publishing something worth engaging kenyans in. as for now you seem to be banging ya head on the wall dear "journalist" once again the only person who seems to think that this is a so called KENYAN SCANDAL is you !

Thanks for your comment. The idea of the meeting according to our sources was to find a manageable solution to the problem. Parts of the resolutions reached involved the engagement of legal procedures. KiN has no take in the case and is purely reporting from a journalistic and non-partisan point of view. However, KiN Editorial thank you for your concern and corrective comment. We hope to be of good service to our readers.
