Netherlands has secured a place at this year's Football World Cup after defeating Uruguay 3-2 in one of the most entertaining matches of the tournament. The results are a guarantee that the finals will be played between two European Countries i.e Netherlands vs Spain or Germany. The latter are meeting this evening at 20:30 CET and the winner of the match will be meeting Netherlands at the finals on Sunday, 11th. July 2010 at 20:30 CET/21:30 EAT.




Demy de Zeeuw was lucky not to have lost all his teeth and jaw after this close to catastrophic kick by Caceres of Uruguay. De Zeeuw, Ajax player was sent straight to hospital for x-ray and treatment.



This match was historic since it saw the Netherlands reach the finals after a 32 year waiting period!
