After a well played match, Spain lifted the World Cup trophy for the first time in the country's soccer history. Andres Iniesta scored the lone goal only four minutes before the end of the second half of the extra time. Soccer City, Johannesburg was the venue for this historic final game of the 2010 World Cup that was attended by 84490 enthusiasts. It was an entertaining 120 minutes of top level football presenting some of the most breathtaking saves by the Spanish keeper. The referee of the day was Howard Webb from England.
