Wazalendo's 47th. Jamhuri Day Celebrations in Bergen

Wazalendo Bergen invites all Kenyans living in Norway and friends to a grand 47th Independence Day Celebrations. The team behind the celebrations in Bergen promises a hot and juicy event starting with a christmas market where one can buy Kenyan exotic artefacts, clothes, paintings and much more.

There will be a red carpet (Hollywood style) reception with a grand photo session that will set the order of the day and welcome the attendees to one of a kind party as the night curtains fall over Bergen. Dj Sparks (from London) and his team will spin the night as ravellers enjoy food and drinks, the Kenyan Style!

Jamhuri Day is a national holiday in Kenya, celebrated on 12 December each year since 1964. Jamhuri is the Swahili word for "Republic" and day (12th. December) marks the date of Kenya's establishment as a republic on 12th December 1964.
