KiN Reports
Kenya was well represented at this year's Vær Stolt Festival that received over ten thousand attendees during the weekend. The annual festival was held at Lusetjern School and Holmlia Sportsground. Association of Kenyans in Norway (AKIN) Chairman Mr. Fred Makosir and Secretary Mr Davies Wanyama were among the attendees who visited the international arena where Kenyan food was served at affordable rates. The Chairman is also a board member and one of the founding members of the Vær Stolt Project which arranged the festival. Income from this year's sales at the Kenyan stand go to Learning Means organization that helps children with school fees in Kenya.
