Fuel prices up by 5%

Fuel prices in Kenya went up for the second time in a row with the latest Sh 6.36 (5%) increase. The prices have been rising since last month and setting the stage for hikes in the cost of food, transport and services in the country.

Kerosene has gone up by 6.36 shillings and will now be sold at Sh 86.01 up from Sh 79.65 a litre. Super petrol will now be sold in Nairobi at Sh 115.26 a litre up from Sh 108.95. Diesel goes up from Sh 101.07 to Sh 106.11 a litre while the price of regular petrom remains uncganged and will still sell at Sh 105.76 a litre.
