The Norwegian embassy in Nairobi reopened a day after the embassy had received bomb threats. Reports reaching KiN Newsroom state that the embassy reopened after being assured by the Kenyan Police that they were in control of the situation and that they had checked all possibilities but found no concrete signs of the threat. The embassy re-opened and is expected to have its normal operation says Bjørn S. Jahnsen at the Norwegian Foreign Affairs office.
Before the decision to reopen was reached, the Kenyan Police had searched the building and intensified security accordingly.
