Bad weather stops Norway Cup 2009

By Daily KiO at Ekkebergsletta
All matches scheduled for today after 16:00 hours have been stopped due to bad weather. The pitches are simply terrible at the moment and according to the organisers, a break was well overdue. Unfortunately, Mathare United's under 14 girls' team lost their last match 0-2 to Denmark's Skovlunde team.

According to KiN's weather analyst, the match was played at the height of the rainy period, one of the worst in Norway Cup's history. The girls are therefore out of the tournament. KiN sends greatest regards to the untiring Kenyan heroes.

Boys under 16 postponed
One of the toughest matches is yet to be played by Mathare's under 16 boys.
