Mathare United in Quarter Finals at Norway Cup

After showing Bekkelaget the gates and scoring some nine goals in one of their latest matches, Mathare United's under 16 boy's team are now ready to face today's challenges. They are now playing the 1/8 finals. Their next match is today at 14:20 (Field 10) at Ekkebergsletta. After winning this match, the team will host another team at 19:00 hours this evening.

Girls under 14
The girls under 14 team are equally winning their matches and are clear favourites this year too. With Shiro in the team, things seem to be working very well for the girl's team. Last evening, the girls defeated one of the toughest teams this year, Elverum, 4-0 in one of the most entertaining matches of the day. The girls are playing their 1/8 finals match today at 15:30 (Field 12) at Ekkebergsletta.

Quarter Finals
"Mathare Soldiers", the under 13 boy's team are excelling and are now in the quarter finals! The boys played a tough match this morning starting at 8 am. The weather was terrible but they soldierd on scoring six nice goals. They won with a clear 6-1 against the team where the goalkeeper was one of the best girls KiO reporters have seen in action at this year's Norway Cup. The boys are having their next match today at 14:20 (Field 6) at Ekkebergsletta.

Culture
Culturally speaking, Kenyans are the best artists at Ekkebergsletta this year. With the travelling cultural group, Kenyans have kept the rythms high at the field with songs, drums and tantilizing dances. Karibu Kenya.
