Full Train stop at Oslo S

KiN Reports

There is currently a full stop for a majority of train transport at the Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). This is due to planned maintenance services to last upto 8th. August 2011.

The stop means that trains from Bergen and Kristiansand turn at Drammen station while the ones from Dovre and Kongsvinner will be using Lillestroem as their last station. The airport express train will only operate between Lillestrøm and Gardemoen Airport. The rest of the routes for the named train services will be served by commuter buses in the named period of maintenance.

The only region that will not be affected by the maintenance service and stop at the central station is the Halden - Oslo/Gotenburg - Oslo route. The trains to the Østfold region (Ski, Moss, Halden e.t.c) will be operating as usual.

Trains to Stockholm will be turning at Lillestrøm station but NSB have arranged connecting buses between Lillestrøm and Oslo S.
All trains from Skien and Larvik will be turning at Skøyen station. Buss connections between Skøyen, National Theater and Oslo S.
