Ongeri must go! Actvists arrested

KiN Reports

Prof. Sam Ongeri's resignation is long overdue at least according to the activists who chained the entrance to his office and staged a sit-in at the minister's Jogoo House office. The activists are demanding the resignation of the minister to pave way for investigation into the reported loss of Kshs. 4.6 billion meant for free primary education.

The activists were arrested and whisked away by the police and held for close to three hours at the Nairobi Central Police Station. After being released, they headed straight for the minister's Jogoo House office where they have promised to stay put until Prof. Ongeri resigns or get fired by the President.
