MADARAKA DAY/ NYAMA CHOMA AND FAMILY DAY
Association of Kenyans in Norway (AKIN) Invites you and your friends to Madaraka/Nyama Choma family day at Kubaparken in Oslo on Saturday 16th. June 2012 starting at 14:00 (CET). There will be lots of games and fun for children and adults.
VENUE: Kubaparken. Take bus 34 0r 54 and alight /board off at Telthusbakken(Next to Oslo School of Architecture and Design ).

Time: From14:00-19:00Hrs. After 19:00hrs, revelers will proceed to Opera Pub for lots of music till late.
ENTRY FEE (to the park, during the day): Free entrance. Drinks will be availed to you at an affordable price.
Whereas AKIN may provide the main grilling equipment (jiko) You are allowed to bring along your own provisions (meat, sausages et cetera) for grilling.We further advise attendees to carry their own grilling utilities (engangsgrill)-for effective cookery.
What to expect
The Cultural, Welfare and Sports sub-committee will spearhead the proceedings of the day. Plans have been made to provide lots of fun for you, your family and friends; with comprehensive entertainment for Kids, Youths and Adults. Sports will include: Playing with eggs, Potatoes, balloons , Sack race, short races(example-40metre race), Football, Kubb, tug of war among others.
