KiN Sports (Friday 6th. August 2010: Ekeberg, Oslo)Mathare United (MYSA) won this year's Norway Cup gold medal for the under 13 years boys' football tournament. The match played at Ekeberg Stadium saw MYSA score six perfectly planned goals against Mandalkameratene of Norway who managed only a single goal against the Kenyan team.
MYSA featured three teams at the tournament that has been marred by the terrible rainy weather leading to a relocation of several matches due to overflooded fields. The final game was attended by several Kenyan supporters who kept the benches warm with song and dance all the way to the distribution of the medals and the golden cup.
In the historic event, MYSA's under 13 boys received their 8th. gold medal for the group thereby being one of the most winning teams of the tournament. The current medal adds up to a grand total of 13 gold medals that have been won by MYSA in the history of Norway Cup.
